MIKRASIATIKI TRAPEZOUNTIOS (MTs) THERAPISTS FROM PAST TO NOW

In 2015, it was reported by Sotiris Antonopoulos (Physiotherapist – Osteopath) based on the principals, theory and practice which he had absorbed from a four year learning period from 2008 to 2012 by his teacher Mrs. Irini Iatridou was possibly the most important practitioner of the last hundred years in Greece. She was born in 1920 in Trapezounta and died on November 16th in 2012 in Thessaloniki where she became renowned as a practicing doctor.

Granddaughter of the great Practicing Physician and Midwife of Trapezounta, Anna Marna, she was taught and applied her techniques using the MTS methods from the age of twelve until the end of her life at the age of ninety-two. Important Practitioners of the past century who were experienced and working in the field using MTS methods were George Emmanouilidis in Ioannina and Theodora Arnaki in Athens.
