Oitis Refuge is situated in a dense, lush green area at an altitude of 1,240 metres just 50 kilometres from Lamia and 200 kilometres from Athens. Since 2007, on a daily basis, every morning we offer our friends and guests unforgettable moments of relaxation and enjoyment in the warm lounge, but also action and adventure in nature and the young forests of the area.
We offer our guests hot and cold beverages, fresh homemade sweets and ice creams, as well as platters of various fresh cold meats and cheeses, a perfect accompaniment for tsipouro or ouzo. Whilst young and ...older children can practice their skills in the new Adventure Park (14 years and over) and in the junior adventure park (for children up to 14 years of age) But adventure fans will not be left complaining as there are activities for every season at the refuge. Mountain biking and hiking are available with a range of level difficulty (with or without a companion). Sports and fun in the snow, freestyle ski and snowboarding, sledging and snowmobile rides and Cat ski (passenger snowmobiles) on the snowy plateaus of Oitis.
In the Refuge you can also find local products such as wine and honey, directly from the producers, fresh cookies, mountaineering maps and photo albums as well as rental of all necessary equipment for outdoor activities (boards, skis, sledges, boots and helmets).

- Adventure Park
The new innovative activity at Oitis Refuge is the adventure park. It is designed to fill in the visitors’ time with a series of difficulties that test the skills and courage by gradually becoming more difficult from simple climbing to the rabbit and flying fox.
- Cycling
Cycling is available on a suitably designed and marked route. Price for bikes: 5€ for the first 2 hours, 10€ for the whole day.Depending on the ability of the group, other more difficult routes are offered.
- Hiking
One can go hiking on marked paths with or without a guide. At Oitis Refuge you will find detailed maps of the area.
- Excursion with Snowmobile and Cat ski
A snowmobile tour (takes up to 2 passengers) and to the top of Pyrgaki (1,600 m), from which we have a panoramic view across Mainland: Southeast is Parnassus, northeast is Othrys, West Vardousia and on a clear day is Velouhi, southwest Gerania mountains. On the same peak with a snowmobile where up to 7 people can travel. From there, one can return by skiing or snowboarding, on a route suitable for beginners and for the whole family.
